There are several ways of obtaining big reductions for the
MICCAI 2006 registration fees.
Student status
Students who spend at least 60% of their working time on
their studies are eligible for 40% reduction or more in
this year's conference registration. Please observe that
you will be asked to list the name of your supervisor and
give his/her e-mail address in the registration form. MICCAI
2006 has the right to contact supervisors.
Early/Late Registration
Registration before July 10th attracts a 50€ discount.
From July 11th onwards the full rate will be payable.
Society membership
Full details about the MICCAI Society may be found on the
website www.miccai.org.
The standard Society subscription rate for Oct 2006 - Sep
2007 is 80€ for full members (non-students) and 40€
for students. For members attending the 2006 annual conference,
several discounts are available, making membership exceptional
value for money. Be sure to renew your Society membership
when registering for the conference in order to obtain the
discounts.
MICCAI Society members subscribing for 2006/7 are entitled
to a 20€ discount in their 2006 conference registration
fees: this applies to full registrants and to students.
Furthermore, conference delegates who wish to subscribe
to the Society in 2006/7 are entitled to a 50% discount
(40€ for non-students, 20€ for students) in
their 2006/7 Society subscription.
Tutorial and Workshop Rates
MICCAI Society members for 2006/7 are entitled to
a 20€ discount in their 2006 tutorial registration
fees: this applies to full registrants and to students.
Workshop rates are not subject to member discounts.
If not attending the main conference, or conference
and workshops are not booked at the same time, an extra
cost of 30 € will be charged.
It is only possible to participate in one workshop per
day.
2006/7 SOCIETY SUBSCRIPTION FEES
FOR MEMBERS NOT ATTENDING THE 2006 CONFERENCE
For Society members who are not able to attend the annual
conference, the subscription rate for Oct 2006-Sep 2007 is

Conference dinner Tuesday 3rd of October
The conference dinner is included for full participants.
Students buy tickets when registering. The cost for students
or accompanying persons is 90 €.
Color pages in proceedings
If you have a paper and you wish to have color pages in the
proceedings, please buy the color pages when registering.
The cost is 350 € per page.
It is not possible to buy extra pages in the proceedings.
Each paper is given 8 pages.
ACCOMMODATION
A number of rooms have been booked for the MICCAI participants.
These rooms would have to be booked through the Conference
Secretariat (not directly with the hotel). All are located
in Copenhagen City. Please see the
map for locations [PDF].
To obtain specially negotiated hotel rates, accommodation
should be booked at the same time as registering for the conference.
Please mark desired arrival and departure dates as well as
choice of hotel in the registration form.
The rooms are offered at the following reduced rates per
night in €, which includes breakfast and taxes.

Please pay the room directly to the hotel on arrival.
To secure the booking, please enter your credit card details
in the registration form. The card will only be charged in
case of no show.
The rates above are the same or lower than normal rates available
by direct booking with one of the hotels, though some hotels
might make special offers, if they have excess rooms. The
Conference Secretariat does not refund any differences occurred
by other rates.
Participants are free not to choose the above service and
can book accommodation by themselves.
PAYMENT
All payments should be made in euro (€).
The following payment methods can be used:

All expenses in relation to cheques and transfers should
be covered by the issuer. Please mark payments with the participant's
name.
Cancellation
Cancellation must be notified in writing to the Conference
Secretariat. Cancellations postmarked before August 1st, 2006,
will incur a cancellation fee of € 70. No refunds will
be made for cancellations postmarked after August 1st, 2006.
If for reasons beyond the control of the organisers, the Conference
is cancelled, the registration fee will be refunded after
expenses incurred by the Conference have been deducted.
If unable to attend, you will be given the opportunity to
send a colleague in your place. A replacement fee of EUR 70
will then be charged.
Cancellation of accommodation are accepted free of charge
until August 1st, 2006. Cancellations after this date will
be charged the equivalent of one night.
